It was fantastic to see such a strong turnout for two days of digital innovation workshops filled with thoughtful discussion, collaboration and a shared ambition to accelerate better mental health outcomes.

The workshops were a powerful reminder that progress happens fastest when science, systems and people work together.

A huge thank you to our organisers, speakers, and lived experience contributors for creating a constructive and inspiring space, many of whom travelled long distances to be with us.

We are excited to take these learnings forward as we build sustainable infrastructure and services to support digital innovation in the UK’s mental health system through the MHG programme.

The MHDI aims to bridge the gap between people living with mental health conditions and the innovators developing treatments for them.

Thanks to all of The University of Manchester Operations team Charlotte Stockton-Powdrell, Heidi Tranter, Judith Gellatly, Gilson Tam, Marta Chmielowska and Mia Vines Booth for their seamless coordination and support in enabling such a well-run and successful workshop event!
